Youth Work
As large part of the mission and outreach of St George's is the work it does with Children and Young People. Whether you're a toddler or a teenager at St George's there is always something to get involved in - in worship, in fun and in fellowship.
In recent years we've become involved in leading a Walk of Witness around Jesmond, a residential weekend to Ridley Hall, diocesan youth events as well as taking a full and active role in all parish life has to offer. In 2010 we are having another residential in June. All our young people will be welcome to the weekend. Watch this space for more details.....................
Here's a brief overview of what's on offer for children and young people:
Sunday School
The Sunday School meets during 9.30am Parish Communion in the Middleton Room of the Church Hall to learn about the Bible stories through art, craft and fun. More details here.
