On Palm Sunday, 29th March, at 6pm. All are welcome at this special service featuring choruses from Handel’s Messiah sung by the combined choirs of Hexham Abbey and St George’s Jesmond. You are warmly invited to reflect on scripture readings, to pray, and to join the choir in singing hymns.
We would be very grateful if you would please consider contributing to the afternoon refreshments for the joint choirs in their break between rehearsing and singing at this wonderful service. Sign up sheets are available at the back of church. Donations can be taken to the hall before or during parish coffee on the 29th or by arrangement with Janet.
