We are your local Church of England (Anglican) church, part of Jesmond life since 1888, with a congregation from the locality, the city and the region. We aim to be friendly, diverse and to welcome all in Christ’s name. Our worship is inclusive and in the catholic tradition, with high quality music. Heritage Open Days
St George's is participating in Newcastle's Heritage Week and so this lovely Grade 1 listed church will be open on Friday 7 September and Saturday 8 September, 10.30-5pm, with guided tours at 2pm each day. Refreshments available.
