Lent Course (now finished)

Our Lent Course this year is aimed at helping us think more about Mortality using Joanna Collicutt’s book called Death and Life. Each week we will explore a biblical passage and engage with a work of art whilst exploring the themes of:

1) Loving (1 Corinthians 13)

2) Letting go (John 21)

3) Seeing, (Luke 24)

4) Growing (1 Corinthians 15)

5) Belonging (Matthew 6)

We will meet on Wednesdays (beginning 12th March) at 11am in the Winskell Room with a soup/roll lunch at 12pm OR 7.30pm in St Hilda’s Church with coffee/tea and cake. Please can you sign up either on the list at the back of church or by emailing Rev Debbie so that catering can be undertaken.

Post-Easter we will look at the final session in the book, Hoping (Romans 8), and we will have the opportunity to explore the themes covered in greater depth also in subsequent weeks.
