Frederick Peacock MA, FRCO is our organist and choirmaster. His philosophy is that everyone is able to sing!  Music is very inclusive and adults and children, male and female, are all welcome to join without going through an audition. Over the years St George’s choir has produced four choristers who have gone on to become choral scholars at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.

Frederick’s other jobs include being organist at Trinity House, Newcastle Quayside, joint organist for the Newcastle University degree ceremonies and the organ adviser for the diocese of Newcastle. Add to this teaching organ and piano to adults and children and he has a very full life!
