St George’s has a close relationship with the schools in the area.

We host services for the Church High School at the beginning and end of the academic year and at the end of each term. St George's also hosts carol services for the Central Newcastle High School, the Royal Grammar School and Westfield School.

Our clergy regularly lead assemblies at West Jesmond Primary School and at the Church High School.

We are always keen to welcome school groups to the church to explain both its art and architecture and its significance.
