T'ai Chi Ch'uan

Li Family System of T'ai Chi Ch'uan Taoist Yoga & Tao Yin Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:30pm

T'ai Chi is an adaptable system of movement working on postural, physiological and psychological processes of the body improving co-ordination and body movement whilst using 96% of all muscle groups of the body. It has been used for centuries to optimise health and well being and is very adaptable for all age groups due to its versatility and ability to adapt to the individual. The Li style is a traditional form of T'ai Chi, containing all of the basic principles of T'ai Chi Ch'uan. Often translated as "The Supreme Ultimate" the T'ai Chi form consists of a sequence of flowing movements performed at a slow and rhythmic pace. These movements contain the essence of health and longevity and help the practitioner to develop strong internal energy. A moving meditation, T'ai Chi promotes a sense of inner peace and tranquillity.
